Privacy policy
This policy covers the Riftcoil Android game (com.akkeros.riftcoil) and this website, both published byAkkeros. The short version: Riftcoil does not collect, sell or share personal data.
The game
- No account and no tracking. Riftcoil has no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no game server. It does not ask for location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage permissions.
- Saves stay on your device. Runs, settings, unlocks and story progress are stored in the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
- Playtest reports are manual. Pause → Export playtest report writes a JSON file of battle statistics to a location you choose with the Android file picker. Nothing is uploaded; the file goes wherever you decide to send it.
- Purchases go through Google Play. The optional Starter Pack is bought with Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under the Google Privacy Policy. The game only receives whether you own the pack, and caches that on your device so it works offline. We never see your payment details.
This website
- playriftcoil.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from this domain.
- The gameplay video is hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Pressing play loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com, and from then on Google handles that video under theGoogle Privacy Policy.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address and browser type under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not use that data to identify visitors.
Children
Riftcoil does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If the game ever starts collecting data, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
